We originally rated this unit 4 stars, but unfortunately after obtaining two products that broke immediately, I would change this particular to simply no stars easily could. I purchased this unit primarily to make crushed ice for green tea and drinks, and to make ice which fits easily into water bottles for biking and school utilize. It worked well well to the application when it worked at all. The promoted settings for ice to make snowcones and slushies tend to be non existent, which has been a disappointment. It tends to make chunks associated with ice about 1/2 inch big, a handful of larger and some smaller. The feet from the machine tend to be little vacuum suckers, so the machine does not slide around during utilize. UPDATE: Unit worked well fine with no less than jamming for around 10 nights, and then a blades ceased turning. As per instructions, I allow it sit to see if there was an item of ice trapped, but to no avail. The motor buzzed, but nothing was relocating there. I delivered it to Amazon with an exchange. I’ll give it a second try, but if this unit fails, then I’ll return it for a refund and try the particular Waring furthermore listed on this website. UPDATE a couple of: The replacement arrived, and survived through 1 tray of ice. Again, the unit is jammed for simply no visible purpose. Back that goes, and for a refund this time. Not suggested.
